Some casks never truly empty.

Before it arrived at Roam, this American oak barrel had already matured rum, leaving behind quiet traces of tropical fruit, warm spice and soft oak. Rather than erase that history, our whisky embraced it, gradually revealing a character that neither spirit could have created alone.

Time transformed the meeting of oak and spirit into something balanced and distinctive. The richness of the cask adds depth and texture while allowing the bright, malty character of the whisky to remain at the forefront.

Like every single cask release, this whisky exists only once. A unique expression shaped by the life the barrel lived before, the spirit it came to hold, and the patience to bottle it only when the moment was right.

Nose

Rich aromas of caramelised brown sugar, vanilla bean and toasted oak lead the way, complemented by notes of ripe banana and pineapple. Gentle hints of honey add depth.

Palete

Smooth and approachable, with layers of butterscotch and vanilla unfolding across the palate. Tropical fruit notes of banana, mango and grilled pineapple mingle with soft oak spice and cinnamon.

Finish

Long and warming, with lingering notes of caramel, toasted coconut and soft oak. A delicate sweetness of brown sugar and dried fruit gradually fades into gentle spice, leaving a rich and satisfying impression.
